Overview

Swiss Army Brands site was in desperate need of a more coherent framework to showcase their full array of Victorinox/Swiss Army Brand products. Their online presence was not in sync with the company's offline communication initiatives and, more problematic, it was difficult to get even basic product information. Further, Swiss Army wanted to build an e-Commerce platform where they could selectively sell some (not all) of their products. Acsys worked with Swiss Army to engineer a scalable solution that provided Swiss Army with the ability to expand its current eCommerce offerings quickly and easily.

Solution

In developing the online experience, Acsys created a user interface reminiscent of a precision Swiss instrument. The design conveys the simplicity, sophistication and functionality of Swiss Army's product line into the site experience. On the technology side, Acsys integrated Microsoft Content Management Server (CMS) giving Swiss Army's marketing team the ability to manage their entire Web presence without the need for specialized training or technical resources. Design templates could now be easily updated with imagery from current print campaigns and other communication initiatives to sync more cohesively with the company's offline efforts.
