Overview

Halifax Health was undergoing an ambitious multi-year transformation to position itself as one of Florida’s leading medical centers. Halifax expanded its facilities, recruited top medical staff and brought in advanced technologies. In addition, they underwent a dramatic re-branding initiative spearheaded by a bold television campaign that built awareness for the many advances they claimed. Acsys Interactive seamlessly connected Halifax’s online experience with their offline communications and shifted thinking away from simply building a Web site toward embracing their online presence as an extension of their hospital. The result is a Web experience unique in the healthcare category.

Solution

To build on Halifax’s TV spots and to capitalize on their investment in the campaign, Acsys Interactive created an award-winning experience that picked up where the TV left off. Acsys extended the spots by bringing a range of characters to life on the site using video vignettes that tell the Halifax story from various perspectives--from beekeepers and scuba divers to administrators and patients. We also enlisted real doctors and nurses who appear throughout the site to convey the sense of pride, community and service that is so much a part of the Halifax brand.
