Overview
Atlantic Health is a hospital system in the metro-New York market, competing with some of the best institutions in the world. In recent years, Atlantic Health acquired several area hospitals. This acquisition broadened their capabilities significantly but left their communications platform fragmented and inconsistent. No where was the disconnect more obvious than their online presence. The challenge was to unify numerous brands and service activities to deliver a single, progressive online experience across all patient touch points. With patients and physicians demanding more from hospitals, the Atlantic Health Web site became a fundamental pillar of their communication strategy.
Solution
The Atlantic Health site was comprised of thousands of pages, most of which were never visited. A deep dive into the existing content produced a site inventory that helped Acsys identify content worth keeping. Acsys proposed a re-organization of the site to better reflect customer objectives. We then re-designed the site, giving the Atlantic Health brand a fresh and progressive look to sync with the many advances that were happening within the organization itself. Acsys led efforts to improve Search Engine Optimization on their site while conducting multiple paid search campaigns to elevate the hospitals profile in key service lines.
