Acsys Interactive Participates in The Health 2.0 Developer Challenge

08.31.10 Acsys Interactive participates in the Health 2.0 Developer Challenge to develop the Mobile Health Rankings application for smartphones and mobile devices . The mobile application will display Health Rankings information for each county and the state in a mobile friendly format.

The Mobile Health Rankings for My Community application is location-aware and displays County Health Data based on the location of the user.

The rankings data, provided by the County Health Rankings service (http://www.countyhealthrankings.org), is displayed on the user's phone in a friendly and easy to use format.

The mobile application uses Augmented Reality technology and runs on Layar - the world's leading Augmented Reality browser.  The Mobile Health Rankings for My Community applications retrieves data from a Web Service, developed using Microsoft .NET technology.
