Acsys Interactive Expands to Boston Area, Bolsters Healthcare and Higher Education Practice Area Expertise

03.23.10 Acsys Interactive announces the addition of Jeff Johnson and Joan Wilson, formerly with BigBad, Inc. in Boston, MA. "Having a Boston presence has been a priority to better serve our client needs and expand our capabilities," says Acsys President Stan Valencis, "the addition of Jeff and Joan specifically adds deeper expertise in our healthcare and higher education practice areas."

In his new role, Jeff Johnson will serve as Vice President, Managing Director, Boston. He will provide strategic consulting services to key accounts, expand awareness of Acsys in the region and support growth initiatives for the overall organization. In his previous role as Chief Creative Officer of BigBad, Jeff was instrumental in growing national practice areas in healthcare and higher education. He was directly responsible for developing the award winning team of strategists and user experience and design professionals that solidified BigBad's national reputation. "I'm excited to join the Acsys team, as I've always been impressed with their ability to leverage the full depth and breadth of their services to drive quantifiable results for their clients" says Jeff, "and I'm thrilled to have the resources in place to continue to support BigBad clients on a go-forward basis." Jeff has worked with numerous clients in higher education and healthcare across the country, including Danbury Hospital, Miami University, Harvard University, Shields Health Care Group, The University of Tulsa and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Jeff is a thought leader in the interactive field and has spoken at conferences nationally including with AMA, GMAC and CASE organizations as well as moderated panel discussions and Webinars.

Joan Wilson will serve as Inside Sales Manager. She will develop initial relationships with prospective clients, aligning Acsys Interactive's robust digital media and consulting services with their business objectives. Prior to Acsys, Joan led new business development efforts at BigBad and was the company's longest standing employee. She saw BigBad through 11 years of growth and business development evolution. She was instrumental in establishing relationships with healthcare and higher education clients and a key driver behind BigBad's national reach and reputation.
