Hosting Clients Enjoy Peace of Mind with Acsys Interactive’s Managed Backup Services

Acsys Interactive is pleased to announce it is now offering its valued hosting clients four subscription levels of managed backup service to meet their critical data retention and recovery needs, as well as their budgets.

While all subscription levels allow for weekly full, and nightly incremental, backup of server data, clients will be able to choose the length of data retention, the amount of data stored, and the amount of time required for data restoration when choosing their particular coverage. All hosting clients will continue to enjoy the world-class protection afforded by round-the-clock access to Acsys Interactive's trained backup technicians.

"Acsys Interactive clients range from non-profits with standard backup demands to important financial institutions for which data backup is a matter of federal regulation and critical customer requirement. Now all our hosting clients can choose which level of service is appropriate for their particular data retention and recovery need and budget."

Acsys Interactive will manage the entire managed backup solution for any hosting client that subscribes to one of the service plans. Initial setup and configuration, tracking of failures and configuration changes are all activities provided from the basic through the optimal levels of service. Data backups are performed from the client's server and burned to disk for quick restore and tape media for long-term storage.

At the highest level of managed backup service, Acsys Interactive commits 36 months for tape media retention of up to 800 gigabytes of data per year. In addition, Acsys Interactive offers the industry-leading capability of bare metal restore for the top three levels of subscription. With this chosen option, clients can be assured of full operating system backup, or backup of all virtual material down to the "bare metal" components of a server.
