Hooker & Holcombe Engages Acsys, Inc. to Develop Customer Extranet System
06.30.06 Acsys, Inc. announced today that it has been selected by the Hooker & Holcombe Companies, a West Hartford-based benefits and investment consulting firm to upgrade their extranet. The enhanced site will enable users to view their investment portfolios online in a secure environment and access updated information on demand.
Acsys, Inc. will convert the extranet to a Microsoft .NET environment and implement Active Directory for user authentication. Based on Microsoft's Lightweight Direct Access Protocol (LDAP) database-organization device, Active Directory will enable site administrators to deploy programs to multiple computers, assign enterprise-wide policies and apply critical updates universally.
