Arch HTH Continues Relationship with Acsys on New Reseller Web Site Initiative and Customer Service Tools

04.27.05

Based on the completion and success of an interactive CD-ROM developed for Atlanta-based pool care product manufacturer Arch HTH for use as part of a point-of-sale marketing initiative distributed through Home Depot stores nationwide, Acsys, Inc., a full service consulting firm that helps organizations achieve their business goals using Web technologies, today announced the company has been retained to develop the Arch HTH Loyalty Program Web site, a major component of the company's newest marketing initiative targeting resellers.

Beating an ambitious five-week deadline, Acsys developed a .NET-based authentication module, Web site, and administration interface, which are aimed at increasing self-service and improving the efficiency with which HTH personnel can support and administer the program.  The project also brought HTH call center personnel online, enabling them to respond to customer inquiries more quickly and efficiently than was possible with the previous legacy system.  In addition, HTH resellers can now sign up for access to online tools that enable them to administer their accounts, access real-time points balance information, and order awards online.

"We chose to re-engage with Acsys due to the previous success we realized with the CD-ROM and because they know the Web strategies and tactics that will streamline our business and provide better customer service," said James Miller of Arch Chemicals, HTH Water Product's parent company.  "Through the new site, we'll be able to increase efficiencies and put more power into the hands of our resellers, while at the same time, the new tools will enable our internal staff to be more responsive to our customers."

"Over the years, Acsys has built strong creative and technical teams and this expertise enables us to deliver high quality results in short periods of time," said Acsys President and CTO Stan Valencis.  "This is extremely important and evident on projects like this, which present tight deadlines and a reliance on new technologies.  It was very satisfying to deliver a high quality project ahead of schedule."
