Acsys Garners 3 Axiem Awards
08.25.04 Acsys announced today that it has been honored for Web site design excellence with three prestigious Axiem Awards. The awards were given for projects Acsys completed for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, New York University Stern School of Business, and the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors.
Acsys took home a first place Copper Award for a Web site tour it produced for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI). The Flash presentation, made available on BCBSRI's Web site and via health expo kiosks, oriented users to the company's soon to be launched Web site, helping to set expectations and enable BCBSRI to realize immediate value upon launching the reengineered site.
Acsys also took home two Silver Awards. One for a site designed as part of a larger strategy for New York University's Stern School of Business. The other for Home Zone CT, a site designed for the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors as the Hartford area's comprehensive consumer-oriented real estate Web site.
"The Axiem Awards are among the most coveted awards in the industry, it's an honor to join the ranks of Axiem recipients," said Acsys President and CTO Stan Valencis. "We've always strived to build Web sites that are innovative, creative, and technically sound and we're pleased to be recognized as a leader in the development of innovative Web solutions."
The Axiem Awards competition is regarded as one of the most prestigious awards in electronic media. This elite international competition receives thousands of entries from all over the world on behalf of companies such as Disney, Mercedes Benz, IBM, and professional sports franchises.
