Acsys Develops New Email Marketing Product
01.13.04 Acsys today announced plans to release MailManager 2.0, an end-to-end email marketing solution providing marketers on-demand access to tools for creating, sending, and tracking email campaigns online, and for developing and managing targeted email distribution lists. The product, to be released in the second quarter, will provide some of the most sophisticated measurement and tracking capabilities in the industry. Marketers will be able to establish tracking metrics for each campaign, and analytic tools will provide up-to-the-minute statistics on click-throughs, opt-outs, overall campaign value, and other criteria.
To ensure that the product is designed around the specific, real-world needs of marketers, Acsys partnered with six companies in different industries to plan, develop, and refine the MailManager 2.0 feature set. The product has been further enhanced through on-going interviews and testing, and is currently in the final stages of development.
"Companies are looking for low-cost, high-impact ways to drive sales and generate revenue," said Acsys President and CTO, Stan Valencis. "MailManager is a self-service tool that lets marketers easily develop, send, and track targeted e-mail campaigns in a very cost effective way. Based on feedback from our development partners, I think users will be very pleased with MailManager's usability and effectiveness."
MailManager is part of the Acsys SiteManager suite of products, which is comprised of simple, browser-based tools that allow non-technical people easily manage Web content, news releases, data collected from online forms, site activity reports, and other key Web site functions. Like all SiteManager products, MailManager can be used as stand-alone application, or can be mixed and matched with other SiteManager products.
A recognized leader in e-mail marketing, Acsys received the American Marketing Association's Mark of Excellence Award for an email marketing campaign for Connecticut-based garden retailer White Flower Farm, which yielded a 430 percent return on investment.
